Astrophotography software in your own language

Most processing tools are English-only. That matters most for the explanations: it is hard to learn why a stack came out the way it did from text you are translating in your head. Akastroid's interface is translated, including every control, menu and help text.

Every language the app speaks

The application itself is translated into 36 languages: English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Português (Brasil), Português (Portugal), 日本語, 简体中文, 繁體中文, Русский, 한국어, Nederlands, Polski, Türkçe, Čeština, Svenska, Dansk, Norsk bokmål, Suomi, Magyar, Română, Ελληνικά, Українська, Slovenčina, Hrvatski, Slovenščina, Srpski, Български, Lietuvių, Latviešu, Eesti, Bahasa Indonesia, ไทย, Tiếng Việt and العربية.

How it works in the app

Akastroid starts in your computer's language, and you can switch at any time from the top bar without restarting or reprocessing. The menus follow as well. Measurements and file names stay exactly as they are. Some of the detailed processing reports written by the engine are still in English.

Guides are translated too, starting with the ones people search for most, in every language above: Deutsch, Français, 日本語, Italiano, Español, Nederlands, 繁體中文, Português (Brasil), Polski, Türkçe, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, Čeština, Svenska, Dansk, Norsk bokmål, Suomi, Magyar, Română, Ελληνικά, Українська, Slovenčina, Hrvatski, Slovenščina, Srpski, Bahasa Indonesia, Tiếng Việt, ไทย, العربية and Bahasa Melayu.
